Dear all,
The niggle on my right upper thigh was good after skipping yesterday’s training, but the niggle on my left knee was still there but not so painful. So it was good today was a gym day as running on a treadmill is a little softer on the knees compared to the pounding on the tarmac.
The Niggle on my left knee seems to be coming from Lateral Collateral Ligament.
Any ideas what might be the cause?
I started with a few minutes stretch, then 5.5km bike warm up, then went on a 55 minutes treadmill run at 2% slope and 11km/h which equated to 10km. Finally a bit of a walk and a 5.5 km bike cool down.
If tomorrow feels good, I might squeeze in a 10k in the evening, otherwise I might skip tomorrow to ready my body for a 20k on Friday.
Unfortunately, the mileage will be low this week, but prevention is better that cure!
